What license is granted with the images?
All downloads are sold on a Royalty Free license.
What are the file sizes?
Our images are available low res for web and high res for print. To check file sizes available for your chosen image simply click 'Add to Cart' and then select the size you wish to purchase.
May I use the images on business cards?
If the design of the business card is unique, meaning you don't sell the same design to different companies, you can use the images. Note that the images cannot be used as part of a logo.
Can I use the photos I buy from Hypermania in more than a single project?
If each project is different as a concept (not a template based presentation) then you can use the photos for more than one client, you don't have to buy them twice. If the concept is the same you cannot use the images because this will be seen as redistribution.
May I download the same image twice?
In case of a download failure, you can download the same image as many times as you need if you try again within 24 hours from the first attempt. No other monies will be deducted.
Do I have to give credit for the image?
Should you use the image for editorial purposes, giving a credit line is compulsory. This is not imperative in commercial usage but strongly recommended and highly valued.
How can I buy images?
Simply add to cart the complete the payment procedure.
What is a comping image?
"Comping images" are low-resolution images used only for illustrative purposes, such as for client presentations or design drafts. They cannot be used for any finished project, whether personal or professional.
Can I get a higher resolution comp to show my client without a water mark?

Can I use your photos as a reference for my paintings and sell the painting to my customers?
This is seen as selling derivative work and is not accepted by our Royalty Free license. With this license you cannot use an image by any means which can be seen as a way of reselling or redistributing the images.
I have lost the files I previously downloaded from Hypermania, how can I download them again?
You have 24 hours for retrieving the same file again. If you have lost a file that was previously downloaded please send an email to support with full details and we will resend you the file via email.
How can I download images?
To download an image, click the small thumbnail on the search results page (if you're using search). You will be directed to the image page, then add to cart where you will see a table with information about the file sizes and prices available. Complete the payment procedure then you will be given access to the image download.
I am a buyer and need a copy of the model release associated with an image that I have downloaded. Is it possible to get a copy? If so, is there a cost?
Hypermania has copies of model releases for all images that feature identifiable persons. There is no charge.
How many of my employees can use the images?
Our regular Royalty Free (RF) license is a one-person license and can be used only by the account owner or his employee, for the company's own projects or clients and cannot be transmitted to another party.
How do I add images to the lightbox?
When you click on a thumbnail you will be able to see above the preview image Add to lightbox, click this then create a lightbox.
